Job Summary
Adjunct Faculty teaching MGT 3400: Managing Projects and Processes in Organizations in-person at Cleary University. Responsibilities include delivering undergraduate courses in the in-person classroom, engaging students with active, hands-on activities, and utilizing Canvas to deliver instruction, manage attendance, grades, and assignments. The role requires interactive pedagogy, creative teaching methodologies, assessment of learning against course goals, regular office hours, collaboration with faculty and staff, and a commitment to inclusive, diverse education for a student body including traditional campus-based students, student athletes, and returning adult learners. Candidates should hold a master’s degree (regionally accredited) with at least five years of professional experience in the discipline and be proficient with Canvas, Zoom, Microsoft Office, and related software, to inspire real-world projects and professional skills aligned with the university’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree from a regionally accredited college/university in the course discipline or closely related discipline
- At least five years of professional experience in the discipline/industry of this course
- Ability to learn and use Canvas LMS, Zoom, Microsoft Office, and related software
- Ability to apply The Cleary MindTM approach to building professional skills
- Ability to teach undergraduate in-person classes
- Experience in engaging students with active, hands-on classroom activities
- Ability to hold weekly office hours (minimum one hour per three-semester credit hour course)
- Ability to collaborate with other faculty and departments
