Job Summary
Teach courses in related fields on campus and/or online, providing timely feedback, responding to inquiries, and monitoring student academic progress. Develop and access curriculum to maintain academic relevance and alignment with program outcomes, institutional priorities, and accreditation guidelines. Collaborate with department chairs, deans, and faculty to ensure policies and state or federal requirements are met. Participate in departmental meetings and complete professional development trainings to stay current in the discipline. Requires a Master's degree (Doctorate preferred) with 2+ years of college-level teaching experience and proficiency in data analysis tools and the Canvas LMS. On-site DC/VA campus with potential Saturday sessions based on need.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree
- 2+ years of college-level teaching experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of data analysis concepts and tools
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and instructional use
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and academic communication
- Experience using the LMS (i.e. Canvas) platforms and instructional technology
- Ability to manage multiple teaching and academic responsibilities effectively
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Proficiency in data systems (e.g., Excel, scheduling software, student information systems)
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- On campus assignments
- Saturday sessions
