Job Summary
Adjunct Faculty in Counseling with an immediate Fall 2026 teaching need for Counseling Children and Adolescents, potentially taught remotely via live video instruction. The course provides an overview of the emotional, behavioral, developmental, relational, and spiritual needs of children and adolescents and equips students with foundational counseling approaches from a Christian perspective. Ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree (doctorate preferred) in Counseling, Psychology, or related fields, has experience with children/adolescents, and demonstrates a strong commitment to integrating biblical principles in counseling. Prior college teaching is preferred. The role offers adjunct compensation on a per-credit-hour basis (e.g., $550/credit hour, or $600/credit hour with doctorate; three-credit course totals provided) and may lead to future adjunct opportunities in counseling, pastoral care, ministry, psychology, and related fields. Remote teaching option is available.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree required (doctorate preferred) in Counseling, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or a related field
- Experience in counseling children and adolescents
- Commitment to Christian higher education and biblical integration
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Dedicated to operational excellence and attentive to details
- Computer literacy—MS Office, Apple OS, SiS Database, and Google applications
