Job Summary
Provide practical hands-on instruction in an engaging learning environment, incorporating innovative teaching methodologies to enhance student learning outcomes. Deliver courses within five-week terms with small class sizes at the Virginia Beach, VA campus. Compensation ranges from $1,499 to $1,650 per section, determined by discipline, credential level, and course type. A Master's degree in Humanities or related field with 18 graduate credits is required, with applied work experience preferred. This role supports ECPI University's mission to help students achieve their goals through practical training and career-focused education.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Humanities or other field with 18 graduate level credits in related coursework (American Studies, Anthropology, Classics, Communication and Media Studies, Cultural Studies, Humanities, Fine Arts, Liberal Arts, Literature, History, Philosophy, Comparative Religion, Visual and Performing Arts and Western/Eastern Civilization.)
- Strong academic and professional record
- Strong active-learning skills for effective instruction
- Experience in a student-centric and hands-on learning environment
- The highest levels of integrity at all times
- Orientation toward results
- Exemplary interpersonal skills, verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
