Adjunct Faculty for AY 27 (Fall '26, Spring '27 & Summer '27)

Adjunct instructors to plan and teach courses across multiple departments for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027. Responsibilities include preparing and teaching courses, designing, developing and assessing curriculum, providing course syllabi, offering timely assessment feedback, planning and evaluating student progress, maintaining related records, collaborating with faculty and staff on student success and retention, contributing to institutional effectiveness and learning outcomes, adapting to on-campus/online/hybrid teaching formats, effectively using learning management systems, incorporating inclusive pedagogy, and working with diverse student populations. Essential attributes emphasize collaboration, strong communication, commitment to interdisciplinary and inclusive education, adaptability, and prior experience facilitating diverse student backgrounds. Minimum qualification is generally a Master's degree in the subject area; some disciplines may accept alternate credentials. Desired/Preferred qualifications include two years of post-secondary teaching experience, course design experience, online/hybrid instruction experience, and interest in STEM curriculum development; background checks and education verification are prerequisites. The role is part-time, with workload typically one to three classes per semester, contingent on enrollment and departmental need; employment is contingent on satisfactory background checks and other standard university hiring conditions.
