Job Summary
Adjunct Faculty for Engineering Technology will teach in-person courses at Ivy Tech’s Richmond Campus, delivering assigned classes according to college policy and course objectives. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials; delivering effective instruction and assessment; maintaining accurate student records and grades; engaging with students to promote meaningful learning; using available technology to enhance teaching; complying with FERPA, Title IX, and campus policies; and participating in safety procedures for classrooms and labs. Requires a bachelor’s or higher degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology from a regionally accredited institution, with transcripts required for both bachelor’s and master’s degrees; part-time scheduling with flexible responsibilities across assigned courses.
Required Qualifications
- Earned bachelor’s degree or higher from a regionally accredited institution in Engineering or Engineering Technology
- Strong working knowledge of current technologies appropriate to area of instruction
- Must submit bachelor's and master's college transcripts in addition to resume
- In-person teaching at Richmond Campus
- Ability to develop/maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, assignments, tests, and materials
- Compliance with FERPA and college policies
- Engages with students and co-workers professionally and cooperatively
