Job Summary
The Adjunct Faculty in Community Education: Life Enrichment will develop and teach non-credit courses aimed at enriching lives and building practical skills in areas such as automotive maintenance and financial management. Instructors are expected to meet administrative requirements, stay current with compliance training, and engage in inclusive, learner-centered instruction. Candidates must possess a clear background check, subject expertise, effective communication skills, and a commitment to supporting diverse learners. Technology competence and a dedication to building community through education are essential.

- Competency and/or commitment to learn and use technologies commonly used in instruction at CLC
- Ability to work effectively and constructively with persons of diverse cultures, gender identities, language groups, and abilities
- Demonstrate sensitivity to and ability to work with the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds of community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities
Desired Qualifications
- Two (2) years of successful, relevant teaching experience
- An appropriate credential or demonstrated mastery in the subject area(s) you are applying to teach, such as a degree from an accredited institution or a relevant industry certification or license.
