Adjunct Faculty - COE - Engineering Online

Job Summary
Teach undergraduate and/or graduate Engineering courses in a virtual environment, including topics such as Engineering Problem Solving, Manufacturing Processes, Safety Engineering, Work Design, Materials Science, and Applied Statics and Strength of Materials. Deliver effective courses aligned with program learning outcomes, provide timely feedback through the LMS, and conduct a one-hour live session each week. Stay current with developments in the engineering field, and foster access and success for underrepresented students in higher education. Emphasize engaging online instruction, utilization of technology, and adapting content to a diverse online learner population.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of industry experience
- strong written and oral communication
- Previous online teaching experience at the college level (preferred)
- Experience with a Learning Management System (preferred)
- Ability to work with a diverse student population
