Adjunct Faculty: CID-CBE MS Organizational Leadership

Job Summary
Adjunct Faculty teaches three semester credit hours per 7-week term in the fully online competency-based education (CBE) format, supports CBE Orientation Courses, responds to student inquiries within 24 hours with timely feedback on assignments and assessments, facilitates courses per standard syllabi provided by the Assistant Dean, monitors undergraduate orientation courses for CBE programs, and provides weekly status reports to advisors. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining teaching materials (e.g., syllabi, course content, question libraries), preparing and evaluating course assignments and examinations, and performing other duties as assigned. The position requires a terminal degree in organizational leadership or a master’s degree in organizational leadership with a terminal degree in a closely related field, strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and the ability to work cooperatively with others with minimal supervision. The role is security-sensitive and subject to credential verification and background checks, with consideration given to candidates who have current relevant professional credentials, college/university teaching experience, demonstrated teaching excellence, and experience working with varied student populations; online or hybrid teaching experience is preferred and evening/weekend work may be required. Required Qualifications
- Terminal degree in organizational leadership or Master’s degree in organizational leadership with terminal degree in closely related field
- Proficient with computers and Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Teaching experience and ability to develop teaching materials (syllabi, course content, question libraries, etc.)
- Experience with online or hybrid teaching is preferred
- Evidence of teaching excellence and working with varied student populations is preferred
- Criminal history check as part of the employment process
