Adjunct Faculty - Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Job Summary
Teach CRNA didactic anesthesia courses, lead immersion sessions at the simulation center, and provide guidance to students on problem-solving and pertinent clinical issues. Demonstrate professional skills that support the program's mission while developing instructional strategies that promote student engagement. Deliver timely feedback on student work, maintain accurate records of attendance and grades, and manage course delivery through the university's learning management system. Act as a Christian role model to students and demonstrate cross-cultural competence in a diverse community.
Required Qualifications
- An active unencumbered Oregon APRN license
- A current CRNA certification from NBCRNA or licensed anesthesia provider
- An earned masters or doctoral degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- Experience in teaching and learning principles for adult education
- Current knowledge of CRNA practice and related professional issues
- Minimum five years of full time equivalent CRNA clinical experience
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- A commitment to the University's Theology of Racial and Ethnic Diversity

Desired Qualifications
- enthusiastic about working in the hybrid DNP CRNA program
- preparing CRNA's to work in a variety of settings throughout Oregon with a focus on rural practice
- versed in principles of enhanced recovery, USGRA and opioid reduced anesthetic techniques
- experience working in CRNA education
- a passion for serving vulnerable populations and underserved communities
- Demonstrated experience working cross culturally with respect, appreciation and humility
