Job Summary
Online Adjunct Faculty in Business Administration deliver assigned online courses in an 8-week (rarely 16-week) format, creating an engaging online learning environment, delivering instruction, and assessing student progress within established policies. Responsibilities include facilitating student learning, using technology to enhance instruction, adapting lesson plans and materials, maintaining accurate grades and FERPA-compliant records, proactively engaging students, adhering to FERPA and college policies, and collaborating professionally with colleagues to support student success. Qualifications outline multiple routes to eligibility, including an earned master’s degree (or higher) in a related field or a combination of master’s/bachelor’s credentials with documented coursework and professional experience, with pre-employment background checks and compliance with Title IX and other regulatory requirements. This is a part-time online instructional role with supervision provided by Faculty Lead or Assistant Faculty Lead, and requires ability to work from states Indiana, Illinois, Kentucky, Michigan, or Ohio due to the College’s Out of State Workers Policy.
