Job Summary
Adjunct, Environmental and Earth Sciences (Undergraduate Online) at Albright College facilitates online, asynchronous undergraduate courses in environmental and earth sciences (e.g., PHY 102 Modern Astronomy; ENV 101 Earth Science Concepts; ENV 102 Meteorology Concepts; ENV 103 Geology Concepts) using a 7.5-week format. Responsibilities include delivering engaging online instruction per a course blueprint, providing timely feedback on student work, promoting critical thinking and applied learning, maintaining a consistent instructional presence, and fostering an inclusive learning environment for adult learners. Requires a Master’s degree or higher in a related field and experience teaching online/accelerated formats; D2L Brightspace familiarity is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree or higher in Environmental Science, Earth Science, or a closely related field
- Experience teaching online, accelerated, asynchronous formats

- Comfort with experiential learning strategies (e.g., applied research, simulations, certifications, AI-supported activities) in a pre-designed course
- Strong communication, feedback, and student engagement skills
