Job Summary
Teach courses for the Counseling or Counselor Education tracks of the Counseling program in the School of Counseling, Human Performance, and Rehabilitation. This (.25 FTE - 1 class per semester) adjunct faculty position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy. Requires PhD in Counseling or closely related field (or PhD in Counselor Education) with CACREP preference, or Master’s with 10 years’ fieldwork teaching experience; must hold a valid state counseling license. No sponsorship and fixed-term appointment; salary commensurate with education and experience. Apply through UA System Career Site; background checks as listed.
Required Qualifications
- PhD in Counseling or a very closely related field (preferably from a CACREP-accredited program) OR PhD in Counselor Education or a closely related field
- May substitute a Master’s degree with 10 years’ experience for fieldwork teaching
- Must have a valid state license in Counseling
