Job Summary
Supervise students during adult medical/surgical clinical rotations and lab/simulation sessions on weekends. Review weekly clinical packets, provide feedback, and complete midterm and final evaluations for each student. Collaborate with faculty to ensure learning outcomes are met while maintaining safety protocols across clinical and laboratory environments. Maintain standard of care and support students and lab faculty as needed. This adjunct position involves 9.5 hours of clinical time plus up to three hours for prep and paperwork.
Required Qualifications
- MSN level preparation
- Active license or eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Ability to effectively communicate with clinical partners, colleagues and students
- Direct strong med/surg clinical experience
Desired Qualifications
- Teaching experience with RN students
