Job Summary
Conduct private and group brass lessons for grades 6-12, including trumpet, baritone, trombone, horn, and tuba. Lead middle school and high school band sectionals while collaborating with department colleagues to implement curricular goals. Maintain flexibility and creativity in teaching diverse musical cultures and jazz improvisation. Submit a cover letter and resume for the one-year position beginning late August 2026.
Required Qualifications
- experience and expertise in teaching brass instruments (e.g. trumpet, baritone, trombone, horn & tuba) to students in grades 6 through 12
- experience working with middle school and high school bands through private lessons and sectionals
