Job Summary
Conduct assigned teaching loads and clinical education for speech-language pathology students while utilizing varied methodologies to facilitate observable learning outcomes. Participate in continuous improvement assessments of courses and curriculum, regularly upgrading class materials and syllabi per University processes. Mentor students and faculty as assigned by the department dean or chair, maintaining regular office hours and providing timely academic advising feedback. Demonstrate advanced teaching skills through student and peer evaluations, ensuring alignment with accreditation standards and prescribed learning outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of clinical supervision of speech-language pathology students at a clinical site or in higher education", "At least three years in speech-language pathology, including documented clinical practice", "Graduate degree with an emphasis in Speech Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders
Desired Qualifications
- PhD/Ed.D./SLPD in Speech Language Pathology, Communication Sciences & Disorders or graduate degree in Speech Language Pathology with Board Certification Specialty preferred
