Job Summary
Facilitate graduate-level instruction in a fully online, asynchronous environment for the Master of Organizational Leadership program, ensuring all courses align with values-based leadership frameworks and Quality Matters design standards. Provide substantive feedback and guidance to students while collaborating with the Program Director and CITAL to maintain high academic standards. Teach one to two courses per semester across seven-week sessions throughout the academic year. Submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, and teaching philosophy statement via SilkRoad. Candidates must hold an earned doctorate in organizational leadership or a related field, though professional experience may substitute on a case-by-case basis. Applications are reviewed until the position is filled.
Required Qualifications
- earned doctorate in Organizational Leadership or a closely related field
- Demonstrated ability to teach in an asynchronous format
- commitment to values-based leadership
- Ability to connect leadership theory to practical applications in sectors such as non-profit, government, higher education, and additional contexts
- interested in working at a university engaged in issues in Christian higher education in the Lutheran tradition
- commitment to cultural diversity
- ability to work with individuals or groups from diverse backgrounds
- experience in working across cultural and other significant differences
- satisfactory criminal background check
- clear results of a thorough background check
