Job Summary
The Adjunct Assistant/Associate Professor will teach and lecture in Fundamentals in Biotechnology with laboratory components during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters. Responsibilities include developing and distributing course syllabi, submitting attendance and grading online, participating in curriculum design, and attending departmental meetings. Candidates must have a PhD or Master's degree, teaching experience, and a commitment to diverse student learning outcomes. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential for this role.
Required Qualifications
- PhD or Master’s degree from an accredited institution required
- Demonstrated coursework in the subject matter required
- Meet competency requirement (experience in content area within the last five years)
- A minimum of 1-5 years of related teaching experience is desired
- A record of successful teaching experience in a postsecondary program is required
