Job Summary
Teach assigned courses including day, night, and online classes at the main campus and extension centers while establishing an effective learning environment. Prepare, submit, and maintain reports related to student learning; grade assignments meaningfully and return them in a timely manner to meet institutional deadlines. Provide educational assistance during scheduled office hours or by appointment, and encourage student opinion survey completion to assist with increasing student success. Maintain professional knowledge and expertise, including compliance training, while performing other duties as assigned. Ability to travel to all campus locations required.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in discipline or 18 credits in the specific discipline
- The practical knowledge and understanding of how a Art Studio functions and operates on a daily basis
- Prefer teaching experience at the college level
- Demonstrated ability to work with various populations representing a wide range of abilities, ages, nationalities and cultures
- Experience with instructional technology preferred
- Responsible for instruction and facilitating student learning

- Teach assigned course which may include day, night, and online courses, as well as at the main campus and extension centers
- Classes are to meet on time for the full allotted time

- Prepare, submit and maintain reports related to student learning
- Grading assignments in a meaningful way to promote continued student growth
