Job Summary
Teach in-seat politics classes during fall and/or spring semesters in collaboration with the Department of Social Sciences faculty. Advise and mentor politics students as deemed necessary by the CUS Dean. Provide strategic thinking to fulfill CUS Department of Social Sciences goals and offer effective servant leadership among faculty, staff, students, and administrators. This on an as needed basis position requires a Master's degree in Politics or related field, with experience teaching college-level politics preferred. Pay is normally $1,100 per credit hour, subject to enrollment and course delivery type. Required Qualifications
- A Master's degree in Politics or a related field from an accredited college/university
- sufficient professional experience in the field to be deemed 'highly qualified' to teach politics classes according to our accreditor's standards
