Job Summary
Adjunct ACNP Faculty – ACNP/AGACNP PRN Clinical Evaluator traveling within 60 miles of Sacramento, CA. Travel to a facility or site location within 60 miles from residency; establish professional relationships with cooperating health care organizations; maintain effective communication with students, preceptors/mentors, OFE, and GCU Course Faculty; provide additional sources of information during contracted weeks; encourage learner responsibility; maintain records and apply evaluation procedures; ensure compliance with program accreditation requirements; uphold nursing tenets and university mission; participate in/ support university programs; model professional conduct per Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement and Mission; candidates must meet education, licensure, and certification requirements.
Required Qualifications
- MSN Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (ACNP/AGACNP)
- Minimum of two years professional experience in an ACNP or AGACNP role
- Active, current, and unencumbered ACNP/AGACNP state license
- Active, current, and unencumbered California RN license
- National board certification – ACNP/AGACNP specific
- Excellent communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with students
- Successfully pass a drug test
