Job Summary
Coordinate didactic and clinical remediation activities for the Physician Assistant Program by developing assignments, monitoring student completion, and tracking mastery status. Meet with students facing academic challenges to review study strategies, identify barriers, and recommend support services while maintaining accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes. Collaborate with program directors and faculty to facilitate timely identification of at-risk students, notify leadership when intervention thresholds are reached, and assist with program assessment and accreditation documentation. Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program or a comparable terminal degree in medicine, health professions education, or basic sciences (e.g., biochemistry, nursing, allied health, pharmacy, MD, DO, etc)
- Must have at least 2 years of relevant clinical experience outside of schooling, except for principal faculty with graduate level science degrees who teach in the basic sciences
- Must hold or have held NCCPA certification, if applicable
- Licensed or eligible to be licensed in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, if applicable
- Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with students, faculty, and staff face to face and via the telephone
