Job Summary
Conduct two-hour weekly lab classes for GRAD138 Comic Book and GRAD150 Storyboarding, delivering high-quality instruction using interactive electronic materials and Microsoft Suite programs. Assist students with coursework, schedule office hours, and assess performance through timely grading of assignments, projects, and exams while adhering to administrative timelines for attendance and grades. Teach in a face-to-face environment within the college's defined course of study, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies to support student outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Illustration or related field
- Proven experience in the industry
- Ability to teach classes in a face-to-face classroom environment
- Availability to travel to campus when/if necessary
- Establish a primary residence in NJ within 365 days
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree
- Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
- 3+ years of applicable experience
- Prior teaching experience
- Strong technical and computer proficiency
