Job Summary
Develop adhesive tapes for the automotive and EV battery markets by enhancing existing products and launching new offerings in collaboration with product management, sales teams, and key customers. Lead product development projects from concept to completion, creating and evaluating prototypes across lab, pilot, and production stages while communicating findings to stakeholders. Drive material and formulation development for adhesive systems, backings, and primers, defining test methods for target applications. Lead co-development projects with customers to expand application fields and actively participate in trade fairs and tech days. Analyze competitive solutions and market trends to shape product strategy. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science (PhD preferred), with up to 15% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Science
- PhD
- Strong analytical and process-oriented thinking with a systematic approach and high technical aptitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams (R&D, Business, Marketing, Sales, Production, Quality, and external partners)
- Normal lifting
- Use of both hands
- Correctable vision
- Lack of colour-blindness
- Willingness to travel up to 15%
