ADF Rehabilitation Consultant

Job Summary
Provide occupational rehabilitation services for ADF personnel, applying clinical reasoning to support recovery after physical and/or psychological injury. Perform functional capacity evaluations, worksite/ergonomic/ADL assessments, develop and monitor rehabilitation plans, and collaborate with employees, medical specialists, and allied health professionals. Work within a multidisciplinary team with KPI-based outcomes, a person-centred approach, and no after-hours work. Role located at RAAF Base Richmond with standard 7:30am–3:30pm Monday–Friday, in-person. Requires current unrestricted registration with a relevant body (AHPRA/ESSA/ASORC/AASW), tertiary qualifications in a health discipline, Australian Citizenship, and at least one year of clinical experience. Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
- Australian Citizenship
- Minimum of one year clinical work experience
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Occupational rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded
