Job Summary
ADF Rehabilitation Consultant role delivering occupational rehabilitation and injury management for Australian Defence Force personnel. Performs functional capacity evaluations, worksite/ergonomic/ADL assessments, develops and monitors rehabilitation plans, and collaborates with employees, medical specialists and allied health professionals within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities emphasize KPI-driven service delivery, with no overtime and standard hours 7:30am–3:30pm, located at Larrakeyah Barracks or Robertson Barracks in Holtze. The position is supported by onboarding and mentoring within the Acumen Health group, offering opportunities for career growth in human services across global brands. Required Qualifications
- Current unrestricted registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)
- Tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Nursing, Osteopathy or Social Work
- Australian Citizenship
- Minimum of one year clinical work experience
- Ability to engage across multidisciplinary teams to support the achievement of a common goal
- Passion to help people rehabilitate
- Occupational rehabilitation experience will be highly regarded
