Job Summary
Drive auction site success by leading daily operations, managing customer engagement, and resolving disputes while ensuring safety and compliance. Execute financial oversight through P&L reviews, account reconciliation, and expense control to support business objectives. Lead hiring, training, and performance management for staff, fostering team morale and addressing disciplinary issues. Monitor inventory, vehicle transfers, and site conditions to maintain operational standards and prevent loss. Communicate change initiatives and corporate directives to the team and regional leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with auction and automotive experience
- High School diploma/GED with at least 5 years auction experience with 5 years automotive of similar work experience
- Minimum 5 years of leadership/supervisory experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Confidentiality and integrity while handling sensitive information
- Proven ability to manage deliverables and metrics against aggressive targets and timelines
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license that meets requirements
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
- Ability to perform Light to Medium Physical Work
- Visual acuity requirements include color, depth perception and field of vision comparable to definitions for Clerical, Administrative, Machine Operators (including inspection) positions
- Ability to handle temperature changes, outside weather conditions, slightly elevated ambient noise levels, and minor atmospheric conditions affecting skin or respiratory systems, such as fumes, odors and dusts
- Ability to stand, watch, touch, listen, walk, talk
- Ability to run, jump, yell or other rapid or forceful movement in emergency situations
