Job Summary
Additive Manufacturing Technician on a full-time basis responsible for shop-floor operation of additive manufacturing equipment, including high-value machines, EDM, and post-processing with emphasis on safety, 5S, and continuous improvement. Requires hands-on operation, collaboration with engineering, ability to follow digital work orders, knowledge of CNC, EDM, welding/bending, and ability to work flexible hours (including second shift/weekends). On-site in Kent, WA; ITAR/E-verify compliance and background checks apply.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience as metal additive manufacturing technician is preferred
- 3+ years of total job experience in a relatable field is required
- Comfortable with hands-on machine operation of high value and high consequence equipment
- Highly organized with the ability to work flexible hours, including second shift and weekends, as needed
- Proficient communication skills, willingness to work and collaborate with a team to accomplish goals
- Knowledge of general fabrication methods including CNC milling, turning, EDM, welding, bending, etc.
- Self-starter mindset, maintain focus on the goal and work towards it when input from process experts and leaders is stretched thin
- Work with high intensity, maintain status tracking, and project execution ownership in an ambitious environment
- Willing to work on site in Kent, WA
- ITAR requirements: US citizenship or eligible to obtain required authorizations
