Job Summary
Operate, maintain, and support metal additive manufacturing equipment (LPBF and related systems) to produce prototypes, production components, and complex precision parts. Perform machine setup, powder handling, build execution, post-processing, and quality inspection. Monitor build progress, respond to alarms or process deviations, flip builds and perform post-processing activities. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and NPI teams to optimize builds and improve manufacturability. Ensure compliance with safety procedures related to combustible metal powders, PPE usage, ventilation, cleanliness, and hazardous material handling. Maintain cleanliness and organization of additive manufacturing equipment and work areas.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass the respirator fit test by a qualified medical professional
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to safely handle metal powders and operate specialized manufacturing equipment
- To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15)
