Job Summary
Identify and assess patient needs based on referral information and comprehensive behavioral assessments. Complete or review evaluation tools with patients and provide ongoing treatment to modify recovery plans accordingly. Orient new patients to program rules, complete admission paperwork, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop initial and ongoing recovery plans. Counsel individuals and groups on scheduled and crisis intervention bases to achieve treatment goals, including clinical interventions for complicated cases involving HIV/AIDS, chronic medical problems, or psychiatric disorders. Requires a High School/GED, Associate's Degree preferred, minimum one year behavioral health counseling experience, and an ADT license in Maryland. Earn CSC-AD or higher licensure within two years of employment. Valid MD Driver's License required. Pay range $24.38 to $36.57 based on experience. Medical, dental, vision, 403(b), and tuition reimbursement benefits available.
Required Qualifications
- High School / GED
- Minimum of 1 year of behavioral health counseling experience
- ADT license in Maryland
- Valid MD Driver's License
- Clearance by the LBH Fleet Safety Department to operate vehicles
