Job Summary
Counsel substance use disorder patients and provide therapeutic interventions to facilitate recovery within the outpatient treatment program. Manage acute and chronic illnesses alongside patients diagnosed with opioid use disorder or substance use disorder. Obtain required certification within two years of hire and complete the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapist exam. Work Monday through Friday with one Saturday per month, earning $24.38 to $36.57 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School / GED
- 1-3 years
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Addiction Counselor Trainee (ADT) status or higher level of certification/licensure (CSC-AD, CAC-AD, LGADC, LCADC, LCSW-C, or LCPC, or higher)
- Trainee status must take required exam for certification within 2 years of being hired
- Trainee status must obtain certification within timeframe allotted by the Board of Professional Counselors and Therapist
- Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Wednesday and Friday: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM
- One Saturday per month from 9:00 AM - 11:30 AM
