Job Summary
The Addictions Clinician provides supportive wrap-around substance abuse services and integrates trauma informed addictions services within the chronic disease model of care. Responsibilities include conducting intake screening and assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing behavioral health treatment for addictions and dual diagnosis. The role involves outreach, education, crisis management, and collaborating with various departments to ensure comprehensive patient care. Candidates must have a Master's in Social Work with necessary licensure, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and must demonstrate knowledge of trauma-focused modalities and HIPAA compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Social Work with current LICSW licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, or LICSW within 6 months of employment start
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a community-oriented setting
- Prior academic and/or professional training in trauma informed care and outpatient addictions services
- Experience with and commitment to interdisciplinary care
- Desire to work in a community health care setting with a target population impacted by trauma
- Current CPR/BLS Certificate required
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual language skills in English, plus Spanish or Cape Verdean Creole is helpful
- Strong knowledge of Office 365 or Microsoft Office programs
