Job Summary
Addiction Recovery Specialist provideS supportive substance abuse treatment and rehabilitation services to patients within a correctional facility through outpatient treatment, addiction recovery education, and group counseling. Requires CADAC II+ (or higher) certification or ability to obtain within 24 months of hire; Bachelor’s degree in a human-services field preferred. Position based at New Castle Correctional Facility, New Castle, IN; on-site, full-time days with Monday–Friday schedule. Required Qualifications
- CADAC II certification (or higher) required or the ability to obtain within 24 months of hire
- Bachelor’s degree in human services field preferred
- Must show/obtain current tuberculosis screening documentation and active CPR, first-aid, Basic Life Support (BLS), and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) use certification
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable
- Available Shift: full-time days, Monday-Friday
