Job Summary
Administer medications and injections, manage patient preselection, and conduct assessments to monitor vital signs for dose changes. Educate patients on treatment, health, and safety policies while scheduling appointments and documenting no-shows in the system. Process physician orders, enter notes into the Electronic Medical Record, and reconcile medication inventory in strict compliance with HIPAA and regulatory requirements. Requires a state LPN license, one year of nursing experience, and familiarity with EMR systems.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with State Medication Administration Certification
- State Licensed Practical Nursing License
- minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
- Familiarity with HIPAA 42-CFR Part 2
Desired Qualifications
- 2+ years of nursing experience
- Prior experience with harm reduction
