Job Summary

Prescribe, dispense, and administer medication for opioid use disorder treatment in accordance with federal, state, and corporate protocols. Conduct complete physicals to establish medical diagnoses for acute and chronic health problems, then review patient information to ensure stability, eligibility, and medical stability. Evaluate patient care by adjusting treatment plans based on diagnostic test results and feedback, while providing education to patients and staff regarding medical maintenance and program hazards. Document services, maintain confidential records, and ensure compliance with CARF standards and clinic policies. Perform medical oversight of the nursing department under the guidance of the Medical Director and Clinic Director.

Required Qualifications

  • Doctoral degree in Medicine (MD or DO) from an accredited college or university
  • No history of alcohol or drug misuse for a period of three years before employment
  • Current license to practice medicine by the state of Ohio
  • Current DEA credentials

Desired Qualifications

  • Board certification, or certificate of admissibility for board certification
