Job Summary
Conduct inpatient detoxification, stabilize patients, and manage hospital consultation services for substance use disorders. Deliver outpatient group visits, specialty medical care, and low-barrier walk-in clinic appointments. Lead community paramedicine, field buprenorphine initiation, jail transition care, and wrap-around perinatal programs. Provide integrated addiction and infectious disease care including HIV and hepatitis C treatment. Participate in clinical innovation, education, and research initiatives while reporting to the division head. Join Cooper University Health Care's interdisciplinary addiction medicine division as an academic physician at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
Required Qualifications
- MD or DO from an accredited institution
- Board certified or board eligible in addiction medicine or addiction psychiatry
- Active medical license in NJ
- Innovative spirit in the clinical setting
- Superior teamwork with interdisciplinary collaborative approach
- Desire to work with underserved populations
