Job Summary
Conduct individual counseling, facilitate therapeutic groups, and manage patient caseloads using a trauma-informed approach. Perform assessments, screenings, and intake while completing sample swabs and participating in crisis interventions. Collaborate with internal and external teams to coordinate care, help patients access appropriate treatment levels, and maintain accurate documentation. Develop treatment plans reflecting physical, medical, and psychosocial needs, and provide clinical consultation to referral resources and family members. This full-time non-exempt role in Ellenville, NY, offers an hourly rate of $27.47-$32.96 (annualized $50,000-$60,000) with medical, dental, vision, PTO, retirement matching, and tuition reimbursement. Schedule includes Sunday through Thursday evenings and mornings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a high school diploma
- Bachelor's or Master's in Human Services or related field preferred
- At least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with Substance Use Disorders (SUD)
- Genuine interest in helping others recover from addiction
- Caring, patient, and understanding with a kind and respectful attitude
- Calmness in tough situations and ability to offer steady support
- Well-organized and dependable with a positive outlook
- Knowledge or willingness to learn about: Trauma-Informed Care
