Job Summary
Provide triage, initial screening and assessment, information and referrals; offer mental health, trauma, addictions and harm reduction supports; develop safety plans to reduce risk; connect women with MSP programs and community resources; foster growth and leadership among participants; maintain professional relationships with community partners; document and report as required; engage with housing services to assist clients in securing suitable housing; participate as part of a dynamic team delivering direct support services to women experiencing or at risk of homelessness; 32 hours biweekly with afternoons, evenings and weekends; build relationships with clients to promote dignity, independence, and access to services.
Required Qualifications
- College Diploma or University Degree in Social Services, or a related field
- Current Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) in last six months
- Ability to attend work regularly
