Job Summary
Coaches high school girls basketball, implementing a coaching philosophy, training athletes for interscholastic competition, and developing their skills at a competitive level. Manages inventory and program evaluation, enforces discipline, and models sportsmanship while adhering to NSBSD rules and ASAA policies. Responsible for pre-season and in-season duties including practice planning, equipment/ uniforms, travel logistics, and timely completion of forms. Requires completion of mandatory trainings and background check; AK driver’s license preferred. Communicates with athletes, parents, and administrators and demonstrates leadership in accordance with the Coaches’ Code of Ethics.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Ability to pass a background check
- Documentation of Mandatory Trainings before first contract day
