Job Summary
Assess newly admitted patients, conduct fall risk and SBQR screenings, and manage safe detox protocols using COWS & CIWAS. Coordinate interdisciplinary care plans, document all actions in the EMR, and respond to medical, psychiatric, and code calls while adhering to infection control and controlled substance policies. Provide clinical direction to staff, mentor new hires, and ensure compliance with Joint Commission and state board standards. This 7p-7a shift role requires an RN with an ASN or BSN, current state licensure, and CPR certification.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN) or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current RN License in State of operations
- CPR and First Aid Certified
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time
- Ability to read and interpret written information; write clearly and informatively; edits work for spelling and grammar
- Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; listens and gets clarification; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills; and participates in meetings
- Working knowledge of EMR
