Job Summary
Examine and grade donated goods for retail stores while adhering to standard operating procedures and accelerating production to meet goals. Provide donation receipts to guests, answer questions, and resolve problems using agency procedures. Sort donations into designated categories, maintain a clean donor door area, and assist truck drivers with loading and unloading. Consistently perform tasks per training playbooks, foster a healthy team culture, and adhere to safety practices including reporting hazards. Requires high school diploma, one year of production experience, basic math and reading skills, and ability to lift 30lbs. Must wear safety shoes and work in all conditions including heat, cold, and dust.
Required Qualifications
- Must have basic math and reading skills
- Must have good oral and written communication skills in English as well as interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work at any Goodwill of North Georgia ADC within the territory as needed
- Must be 18 years or older to become certified and licensed to operate a forklift
- Must start employment in acceptable safety work shoes
- Must be able to work in all types of conditions including heat, cold and dust
- Must be able to meet all physical requirements to perform the duties of the position including the ability to bend, reach, grasp, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time as well as the ability to push, pull and lift up to 30lbs with or without accommodation
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- One year or more (1+ years) of production experienced preferred
