Job Summary
Responsible for thoroughly examining and sorting donated goods to sell in Goodwill of North Georgia Retail stores, processing items quickly to meet production goals, and maintaining an organized donor door/ADC area. Provide donation receipts to guests, resolve questions following SOPs, promote teamwork, and ensure safety. Requires ability to work at multiple ADC locations within the territory, basic math/reading skills, and English communication. Must be willing to operate a forklift (certification required) and participate in required trainings. This role supports a people-first approach and aligns with the organization’s mission to help local job seekers.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1+ years of production experience preferred
- Must be 18 years or older to operate forklift
- Must be able to operate forklift
- Must be able to meet physical requirements (bend, reach, stand, walk, push/pull up to 30lbs)
- Must have basic math and reading skills
- Goodoral and written communication skills in English
