Job Summary
Greet donors upon arrival, unload donations from vehicles, and assist with form completion. Sort items into 3-siders or hampers by category while notifying the office of status, trash, oversized items, and needed repairs daily. Clean the interior and surrounding exterior areas, complete required logs and forms, and train new attendants on center responsibilities. Work a flexible schedule including weekends and travel to various regional locations while adhering to safety, security, and punctuality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and travel to different locations within the region
- Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to work in wet, humid, or hot conditions, depending on the weather
