ADAS Performance Engineer

Job Summary
Establish budget and timing plans for assigned vehicle applications and set objective performance targets for ADAS features based on competitive benchmarks and voice-of-customer data. Create and support validation plans for the test engineering team while working with the functional science simulation team to increase requirement simulation capability. Track development and validation status via scorecards, provide impact assessments for product changes, and review materials for leadership ride and drive events. Identify and resolve cross-functional issues affecting system performance, develop risk mitigation plans for timing slips, and escalate roadblocks to development and validation. Willingness to support 1–2 week development trips and maintain a clean driving record for public road testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent (Materials/Chemical/Civil/Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET accredited or equivalent university
- 3 years of related engineering experience
- Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and Pages
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt to major strategy shifts while ensuring work continuity and motivation
- Willingness to support 1–2 week development trips, domestic and international
- Clean driving record and ability to drive test vehicles on public roadways

Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of the V-model development process and requirements traceability
- 2 years of experience within the area of ADAS product development
- 5 years of related engineering experience
- Understanding of Client vehicle and electrical engineering development milestones
