Job Summary
Gather business requirements with finance and stakeholders, then configure Workday Adaptive Planning components including model sheets, cube sheets, dimensions, and formulas. Build reports, dashboards, and integrations using Data Designer and cloud tools, while managing data migration and deployment activities. Develop test scripts, resolve configuration issues, and deliver user training and knowledge transfer sessions to support client adoption. Contribute to delivery standards and share knowledge across projects to drive continuous improvement within the Workday practice.
Required Qualifications
- Experience participating in one or more Workday Adaptive Planning implementations or equivalent hands-on configuration experience
- Good understanding of: Adaptive Planning Model Sheets
- Good understanding of: Cube Sheets
- Good understanding of: Dimensions
- Good understanding of: Levels
- Good understanding of: Versions
- Good understanding of: Formulas
- Good understanding of: Reporting
- Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including: Budgeting
- Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including: Forecasting
- Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including: Financial Reporting
- Knowledge of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), including: Variance Analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively within Agile, collaborative delivery teams
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Eligibility to obtain UK Security Check (SC) clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Workday Adaptive Planning Certification or actively working towards certification
- Experience working within UK Government or regulated industries
- Familiarity with Excel-based financial modelling
- Exposure to Workday Financials and/or Workday HCM
- Finance qualification or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
- Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies
- Workday Adaptive Planning Certification (support and training provided to achieve certification)
- Additional Workday Pro Certifications (advantageous)
