Job Summary
Plan, organize, and deliver value-driven skill development programs in accordance with YMCA goals. Assist participants with activities, routines, and games while adapting to individual needs. Lead classes with enthusiasm and manage equipment to ensure safety and a clean, risk-free environment. Ensure all children are picked up by parents and promote other YMCA programs through referrals. Maintain compliance with policies and standard operating procedures while performing assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Demonstrate ability to develop and teach skills
- Experience working with children and/or adults with special needs
- Prior knowledge and at least 1 year of experience in program area
- Ability to effectively use technology for programmatic needs
- Obtain and maintain all new hire certifications and trainings within 90 days of hire
