Job Summary
Adaptive Equipment Tech responsible for scheduling and performing preventive maintenance and repairs on wheelchairs and adaptive equipment, assisting therapists with fabrication/modification, arranging transportation and loaners, completing required documentation, communicating with health care professionals, managing parts inventory, and contributing to departmental operations and team activities. Must hold a New York State driver’s license and a high school degree or equivalent; role involves electronics work with 6, 12, and 24-volt batteries and adherence to department regulations and agency standards.
