Job Summary
The adapted physical education teacher provides specialized assessment, instruction, and consultation for students with disabilities requiring tailored physical education programs. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive evaluations, developing IEP goals and objectives, providing individualized instruction, consulting with teachers and parents, and maintaining accurate documentation of student progress. Candidates must possess a valid California adapted physical education credential and maintain fingerprint clearance and TB testing. Strong communication, conflict resolution skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to established procedures are essential.
