Job Summary
Mercy is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and operate radiographic equipment (including mobile units), select exposure factors, evaluate radiographs, and ensure patient safety. The role requires lifting and moving patients, continual standing/walking, recognizing emergencies, adapting to stressful situations, and communicating effectively. Proficiency with radiographic equipment, radiographic processors, and computers is expected. Must have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program with completed clinical hours; state licensure may be required; ARRT registry or registry eligibility within 6 months of hire. A $10K sign-on bonus is offered and relocation assistance may be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program and completed required clinical hours
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Licensure: State licensure may be required depending on the specific state of practice
- Certification/Registration: ARRT registry or registry eligible Achieved registry within 6 months of hire
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Technical skill in radiologic procedures, understanding of basic anatomy
- Experience: Has acquired experience and possesses capability as determined to be adequate for the position
