Job Summary
RN provides patient care on Med Surg 3N using the nursing process, maintains professional accountability for the care of assigned patients, evaluates care effectiveness of direct care givers, coordinates patient care with other departments, and upholds patient rights and confidentiality in alignment with Mercy's mission and service standards. The role requires completing required nursing competencies and certifications (BLS/ACLS/PALS) and contributing to a compassionate, high-quality healthcare team. Day shift, Full Time.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)
- RN license and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed
- Mandatory nursing certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS, PALS) within required time frame
